DBK Art activities and interventions have created spaces for artistic expression, public learning, children’s education and collective community engagement. Street art activities and the Art Festivals have brought together international street artists; local artists; international and local musicians, community members; local businesses; and students. These activities provided a relatively quick and low cost visual art display in the neighborhood and, in addition, facilitated dynamic collaboration between the street art community and other community groups including young people, community leaders, activists, developers, and business owners.
