Develop Boeung Kak Art Project

 

Boeung Kak Lake is a popular backpacker area in the heart of Phnom Penh capital of CAMBODIA with a natural lake of 90 hectares.

In 2008 the high-speed economic development will change the destiny of this village, a Chinese company gets a 100-year title to build a business district and the lake is sold and then dry up.
This will include the expulsion of about 4,000 families.
We can't go against development but we can find solutions!

The social life and the local economy were shocked and it's in this context that we decided to propose a project to be reborn through art ''DBK ART'' is born

Established in 2014, and officially registered in France (under French law of 1901) in December 2015, DBK Art started with Ludivine Labille and Marjolaine Arnaud the founders of the project. 

DBK ART has organized, collaborated or sponsored dozens of events and welcomed many artists from all over the world. 

A wonderful chain of solidarity is created
